German artist Cornelia Konrads turns forest paths, familiar outdoor structures and random places into unnatural and wonderful sculpture sites. Careful planning and thought is obvious in the design and placement of her works. Some are graceful and elegant – organic braches and logs floating, devoid of gravity. Others are manmade, hard-edged and abrupt interruptions to our sense of reality. Carefully composed, Cornelia’s visons are delightful and unexpected, in the best of ways.
