Coming up at Varnish Fine Arts is an exhibition not to missed – Dan Quintana, Zero Instruments, a solo show of his works. We have long admired Dan’s dynamite painting skills and his newer works have evolved into more involved compositions, superbly surreal masterpieces. We could go on (and on and on…) here, but you really must see the virtuoso works in person. Words are just words – his images make any verbal description weak in comparison. This exhibition showcases his oil paintings and charcoal drawings, featuring the bold figures set in allegorical landscapes that he is known for.
We’ve posted a few newer and older pieces here, some of which you may have seen on Eclectix before. Enjoy – ‘Cause Dan Is The Man.
Opening Reception: Saturday May 25th, 2013, from 6-9 PM.
These (musical) devices will serve as an allegory… Our hearts and minds are a concerto of one. In this case, zero. The essence has and will always remain. Savage.
