Featured Artist: Matthew Cornell - Despite obvious human habitations, Matthew’s paintings are lonely and isolated – yet beautifully calm and almost zen-like, capturing light soulfully. They put you in their own lovely sense of place, like a time capsule into someone else’s life.
About some previous works, Matthew says:
“The work is created in great detail on a small scale to encourage a more intimate interaction between art and the viewer. All human presence has been eliminated, creating an idealized world where nature again rules.”
