Kim is a local SF artist with a fantastic painterly style depicting gritty city streets and scenes. The brushstrokes are intentionally left fresh – moody, gestured and darkly lit by stop lights and neon – they echo late night wanderings. Chinatowns, rooftops, empty streets, abandoned bicycles, train tracks – alone, lonely and yet so lovely, the ying and yang of city life.
