Foto Fix: Myoung Ho Lee
Myoung Ho Lee photographs solitary trees framed against white canvas backdrops in the middle of natural landscapes. Like stage settings in nature - they beautifully isolate and highlight the shape of the tree. To install the large canvases, which span approximately 60 by 45 feet, the artist enlists a production crew and heavy cranes.

Hideki Tokushige creates incredibly elegant and beautiful floral sculptures out of the bones of dead animals called ’Honebana’. In Japanese, ’Hone’ means bones and ‘Bana (Hana)‘ means flowers.

Founded in 1990 by the Scottish duo Alistair McAuley and Paul Simmons - Timorous Beasties is a textile design and manufacturing company based in Glasgow, creating hand printed fabrics and wallpapers. Noted for their surreal, sumptuous and provocative designs, one critic has aptly described their work ”as William Morris on acid”.
