Book Nook: The Creative Pet Project
Do you love animals and art? Then this Indiegogo campaign is a great way to support both and get a lovely book full of fantastic contemporary art in return. The Creative Pet Project is a collaboration of artists and illustrators who have come together to help animal charities. This first volume supports two chosen charities, listed below.
Founded in 1969, the International Fund for Animal Welfare saves individual animals, animal populations and habitats all over the world. IFAW provides hands-on assistance to animals in need, whether it’s dogs and cats, wildlife and livestock, or rescuing animals in the wake of disasters. We also advocate saving populations from cruelty and depletion, such as our campaign to end commercial whaling and seal hunts.
Born Free USA is a national animal advocacy nonprofit organization. Our mission is to end the suffering of wild animals in captivity, rescue individual animals in need, protect wildlife — including highly endangered species — in their natural habitats, and encourage compassionate conservation globally.
All the artists not only include animals in their artwork, but also have a companion animal (hence the title, Creative Pet Project). The aesthetic of their work, combined with their love of animals forges a strong partnership to raise money for animal protections and rights. A way we can all give to charity and get something back.

Many of the artists have rescue animals. They have become passionate about their connection to animals, which shows in the amazing artwork for this project. To give you an idea of some of the talent included, below are just some of the artists involved. Many of these artists are favorites whose work you have seen on Eclectix over the years.
