Featured Artist: Alejandro Quincoces
Foggy, hazy and smoggy, the urban landscapes of Alejandro invite you to get dirty and enjoy the flawed city, before it’s gone for good. Roads and power lines are chicken scratched suggestions, muted colors and abstracted shapes recall places we might have been or will be going. We realize the future is now, when viewing his work – heat, pollution and environmental disasters are given elements in his expressionist vision. His images are full of bittersweet beauty, marking the passage of time and human existence in a soulful trajectory.
A Bilbao-born artist, Alejandro works mostly in oils and charcoal washes, here.
