The Ukrainian street artist duo – Interesni Kazki – have been painting together for over 15 years and have painted all over the world, originally starting in Eastern Europe. Individually, they are – Aleksei Bordusov and Vladimir Manzhos – whom also go by their respective aliases AEC and WAONE. Their beautiful acrylic murals are full of brilliant colors and life, often embracing regional local cultures and spirits.

Street Art: CRYPTIK
Cryptik creates mesmerizing mandala-like designs, calligraphic iconography painted with crisp precision and mind bending detail. His inspirations are compassionate and spiritual in nature, pulling from Zen teachings, Buddha, Ganesha, Eastern philosophies and iconography – in a palette of earthy browns, golds and black.
Every year during Art Basel in Miami many fantastic artists converge to create stunning murals and street art. This year for Art Basel 2014, we thought we’d compile our favorites of the newest street art. Much of the art is curated by the Wynwood Walls project, a warehouse district that has become a street complex of giant canvases, evolving into the city’s trendiest arts district, since 2009.
Sunday Street Art: Nychos
Nychos has an upcoming solo show here is San Francisco - ‘Street Anatomy’ featuring his fantastical anatomical artworks. It’s nice to be able to feature a great local exhibit and new art for our Sunday Street Art posts! Austrian street artist, Nychos is recognized world wide for his unique style with distinct anatomical explosions as subject matter.
If you would really like a fun, adventuresome, local art experience like no other, you need to check out this large collection of street art – this time on the inside of a building. The graffiti art group Endless Canvas organized a huge event to decorate an abandoned ink factory, the Carbon Warehouse, down by the railroad tracks on Fourth St. near Gilman Ave in Berkeley.
